Description:

Vanni Pulé‘s early influences in art were his older brother and mother.  At thirteen he already had strip cartoons published regularly in a daily newspaper and eventually became the cartoonist for the 'Sunday Times of Malta'.  He studied under Anton Calleja and Harry Alden and followed a master course in Mixed Media at Central St Martin's, in London.  He participated in various joint exhibitions and exhibited solo at Spazju Kreattiv , at the Imperial in collaboration with the Malta Cultural Institute Foundation, at the Waterfront Hotel and at the Gemelli Gallery besides taking part in collective exhibitions in Malta and abroad. Many of his paintings are to be found in private collections on both sides of the Atlantic.
He likes to experiment with various media, but his favourite is acrylics. His style is eclectic and he does not like to be categorised and restrained by art fashion or being pigeonholed.
