Expressionistic in spirit, his work favours energy and emotion, often described as thematic, bold, and almost Fauvist in approach. A paediatric cardiologist by profession and an artist by passion, Grech balances precision with spontaneity. Guided by renowned Maltese painter John Borg Manduca, he developed a distinctive style marked by impasto surfaces, tactile richness, and luminous tones. Grech has exhibited widely in Malta and abroad, earning a respectful following, with many pieces held in private collections.
