Published: December 13, 2025 9:51 am Audrey studied art and art history under Dr. Joseph Paul Cassar and later continued her training with artists Charles Cassar, Anton Calleja, Philip Agius, and Winston Hassall. At the Malta School of Art, she studied drawing and sculpture with Mr. Joseph Chetcuti and painting with Mr. Noel Azzopardi, placing first in a sculpture course under Ms. Chetcuti. She furthered her studies at the Florence Academy of Art, attending drawing, painting, and sculpture courses with Jordan Sokol, Eran Webber, Vitaliy Shtanko, Jura Bedic, and Simone Olivia Moritz. Audrey enjoys experimenting with different media and subjects, though imaginative themes remain her favourite. She selects her medium according to her mood, allowing her ideas to unfold naturally on paper. She admires Alphonse Mucha for his design, Salvador Dal for his imagination, Mary Cassatt for the intimacy of her pastel works, and Gustav Klimt for his decorative style. A member of the Malta Society of Arts and the Pastel Society of Arts, she has participated in several collective exhibitions. In 2018, she was awarded 'Gieh l-Ghasri' for her artistic contributions, including religious bandalori.
