Description:

Claude Gaffiero studied art in Malta and in Germany. He has taken part in several local exhibitions and formed part of the Six Soldier Artists group which held periodic exhibitions locally. He was responsible for designing the badges of rank and insignia of the Armed Forces of Malta as well as the decorations awardable under the Gieh ir-Repubblika Act. He paints in oils and water-colours.
