Description:
From a young age Josette Muscat was intrigued with art but started her art journey at a late age. She attended various art lessons with prominent Maltese artists. Finding free time for herself during Covid she decided to take art seriously and started experimenting on her own. She started using all kind of mediums but fell in love with watercolour, finding it challenging and requiring a specific understanding of the medium. Maltese history and its architecture always appealed to her too and lately is showing her ability in creating colourful Maltese landscapes using a granulating effect which give her paintings a unique style. Josette is a member of Jean Haines online art school, an English international watercolour artist and mentor. Trying out new methods and styles keep Josette always open to learning and creating.
