Galina Troizky was born in Moscow where she graduated in applied art and fashion design in 1985. She subsequently lived and worked as an artist for several years in Berlin and settled in Gozo in 2003, developing additional experiences in figurative art around the inspiring Gozitan landscape. She has exhibited regularly in Germany, New York, Zurich, Holland and Moscow, as well as at The National Museum of Fine Arts and other venues in Malita. Henry Alamango is a popular self- taught artist. With several solo exhibitions to his credit, he is best known in Malta for his figurative water-colours that bear witness to his love of nature and all things Mediterranean. His palette includes various water or acrylic-based mediums, often coexisting within the same artwork. Working at their studio in Gozo, Gallina and Henry have explored different styles and techniques since 2016, often developing joint works of art.
