Description:
Maria Cassar started her artistic journey at Gozo Art School and was later mentored by Ray Pitre. She then took part in art sessions at Harry Alden's studio, under whose guidance she sharpened her artistic perception and learned to see subjects from different creative angles. During this time, Maria began exploring new styles and looking for alternative ways to express her emotions more creatively. Ms. Cassar does not concentrate on minor details; she values colour more as a potent form of expression. For her, colour symbolises and emanates light in its full brilliance. She has participated in various solo and collective exhibitions, and her works are held in private collections in Malta and abroad.
