Tessie has always been interested in art, colour and psychology for their symbolism and their spiritual dimension which she describes as her ‘growth’ companion in life. Her work is connected to her inward search for meaning, and colour is an essential part of how she experiences the world around her. Tessie enjoys exploring landscapes, abstract art and painting her personal reflections. Her preference is towards bright, vibrant colours and textures using acrylic paint and found objects. She studied at the School of Art Valletta, and she furthered her studies as a mature student at MCAST obtaining B.A. (Hons) in Fine Art. She took part in various collective exhibitions. Her work is found in private collection locally. In 2017 Tessie represented Malta during UNESCO Art Camp Malta.
