Born in 1981 in Qormi, Malta, Elaine Mifsud is a mother, artist, and educator whose world revolves around art - with colour as her enduring muse. Her creative journey, rooted in a lifelong fascination with visual expression, formally began in 2007 at the Malta Society of Arts in Valletta, later continuing at the Malta School of Arts. Under the mentorship of Mr Tony Sciberras, she earned her Diploma in Fine Arts (Painting) in 2015. Her practice is an ever-evolving exploration of emotion through colour - a vibrant dialogue between feeling and form. Deeply inspired by the harmony and tension found within hues, she translates her inner world into abstract compositions that pulse with life. Regularly participating in workshops and plein air sessions, she keeps her artistic spirit alive and dynamic. Her recent exhibitions include Collectively Solo IV (Gallery 23, April 2025), the Order of Malta National Art Exhibition and The Three Palaces Festival-Chiaroscuro Exhibition (November 2025), In September 2025 she debuted with her solo show REALMS OF COLOUR at Gemelli Art Gallery, a luminous celebration of passion, emotion, and chromatic expression.
