Her preferred mediums, oils, acrylics, ink and watercolours, allow her to explore a wide range of subjects with fluidity and confidence. Madeleine began her formal training at the School of Art under the expert guidance of renowned tutors Harry Alden and Esprit Barthet. She has continued to refine her skills over the years though various courses and workshops, which expanded her technical repertoire and deepened her understanding of the visual arts. Her artistic focus includes seascapes, landscapes and scenes reflecting Maltese cultural traditions, all approached with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of place. Madeleine 's work has been exhibited both locally and abroad and is appreciated for its warmth, balance and narrative quality. With every piece she creates, she draws on her years of experience to celebrate the beauty of the familiar through a distinctly Maltese lens.
