Featuring a cream mount, it includes the certificate of authentication and a review of the profile of the artist by Dr Giovanni Bonello. Georg Furst was born in Nuremberg, Germany in 1888, and lived in Malta during the first World War. Furst was very artistic and was largely self-taught. He specialised in seascapes, mostly in oils, but his work includes some exquisite watercolours, gouaches and photographs of Malta. H:38 x W:57cm.
