Climb over 100 steps within St Paul’s Anglican tower and reach the junction between the tower and the spire. From the four terraces at over 40m above ground, you will be able to enjoy exceptional views over Valletta, the harbours, and the sea beyond. The tour includes a visit to the Ascension Chapel and its stained glass. Starting from the Cathedral robing chamber, the tour will climb through the original church stairs into the Bell Tower, see the ringing chamber first, and discover the original 19th century complete peal of bells. The tour will follow this unique timber structure and staircases and is an exceptional opportunity to discover the ingenuity of 19th century architecture and to embrace inimitable views of the Valletta skyline, whilst admiring the recently completed restoration works and the newly rebuilt stone finials. This is for 2 people and the duration is 75 to 90 minutes. Available from February till June 2024 by mutual agreement and weather dependent. Must be over the age of 14 and this tour is not suitable for people with restricted mobility, health conditions that prevent physical exercise, people afraid of heights or suffer from claustrophobia.
