Published: September 15, 2023 5:40 pm A wonderful opportunity for four people to visit the Royal Library (which is not open to the general public) accompanied by Mr. Everett, who was Librarian for 18 years and wrote a previous guidebook to the castle. The tour can be followed by a visit with him to the Castle‘s State Apartments. Visitor fact: 1.1 million visitors toured Windsor Castle last year, but none among them were able to see the spectacular Royal Library, as it is usually only open to scholars.
