Published: September 15, 2023 5:40 pm This is one of just two prints of a sketch made for the Brunei Royal Family by acclaimed designer Peter Stevens. Professor Peter Stevens is one of the world’s foremost designers of both cars as well as other industrial products including the recently completed Hong Kong Peak Tram. His work on car design ranges from being Chief Designer at McLaren for the McLaren F1, Chief Designer at Lamborghini, to designer of the Lotus Elan M100, Jaguar XJR and re-design of Lotus Esprit. He worked extensively in Formula 1 and even designed the F1 logo. The sketch will be signed by Peter Stevens and named for the winning bidder. It is exceedingly rare. Only on two occasions was Peter Stevens asked to illustrate a specific car for the approval of a very special McLaren customer, and this is one of those. It is printed on a very high-quality heavy paper and uses an Archive quality colour process. Size is A3, landscape.
